It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Posted by: | December 9, 2012 | 10 Comments |

I just arrived home from shopping and  noticed that there’s a lot of decorations up for example Christmas trees, photos with Santa, glittery stars and peoples  front yards all in the theme of Christmas. Many people are also doing their Christmas shopping. Christmas is a celebration where people and famous musicians sing, dance and have a fun time performing carols.  Christmas is about having fun with your family and friends. I enjoy the Carols by Candlelight. Carols are songs about  Christmas. My favourite Christmas Carols are Deck the Halls, Away in a Manger and Silent Night.

On Christmas Day my Family as a tradition come over to my house to have a Christmas lunch. When all my family arrive my cousins and I run inside to open  presents. Sometimes we save the best one for last. We have lunch in our sun room as for lunch we have so many things to choose.  We have a huge feast of food. My Nana usually buys  a Ginger Bread house as my cousins and I decorate it. For dessert we have melted chocolate fondue. Mum brings a plate of fruit and my whole family dip the pieces of fruit into the melted chocolate.

Some children write a wish list which is what they would like for Christmas I have already wrote up my  wish list for Christmas . My wish list is a letter to Santa and here it is.

Dear Santa,

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with Mrs Claus and your cheeky elves. For  Christmas I would like  a Furby which is a toy that can interacts with you as well as  some clothes, and a  One Direction doll.

From,

Bianca BB.

I hope everyone near and far has a Wonderful Christmas with their family and friends.

Do you Celebrate Christmas?

What would you like for Christmas?

Do you have your Christmas tree up and ready?

    Dear Bianca,

    Merry Christmas to you!

Yes, people are starting to hang lights on their homes, wreaths are on doors, and lots of holiday music is on the radio.

I just got my Christmas decorations down from the attic. Some of my favorite decorations are: a snowflake from a former class, a paper row of Christmas trees, and the garland I put around that has lights in it. Out back, we usually put this blow up Santa, Christmas tree, and Frosty. Not sure what Buck will think of it…he might find it delicious!

Do you have a favorite ornament?

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    Love,
    Mrs. Y♥llis

      @ Mrs Yollis,
Awesome comment and thank you for leaving a comment on my blog.

Merry Christmas to you too. Many people sure are hanging special decorations.
There is no holiday music from what I have heard on the radio. But I have noticed many singers are making Christmas Albums.

It sounds like your decorations are very special to you are they?

Many people are blowing up inflatable Santas. Ha ha ha Let’s hope Buck does not eat Frosty.

My favourite ornament is mum’s angel it an angel praying.

I hope you and your family have an awesome Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
Also I hope Buck has a barking of a time at Christmas too! WOOF WOOF Buck Merry Christmas.
Oh I just realize this is Buck’s first Christmas. Are you getting him a special gift Mrs Yollis?

      Love from

      BB x0x0x
PS Good luck with the Edublogs awards as I really hope you win Mrs Yollis!

    Dear BB,

Did you have a good day? We saw your wdiget, and we have a person in class named Molly.

We liked the video you have on your post. It made us laugh and sing!

What food do you eat for Christmas? What kind of tradition do you do on Christmas?

One of our students is flying to Australia on Friday! She is flying to Sydney and staying in hotels.

What does Santa wear in Australia? We think it’s too hot for a winter Santa suit!

@ Mrs Kassel Day’s and class,
Awesome comment and thank you for leaving a super comment on my blog.

I sure did have a good day today at school. Did you all have a good day? That is great you have a person in your class named Molly.

I am so glad you liked my video. That is funny it made you all dance and sing. For Christmas my family and I eat Pork, Salads, Bread rolls, fish and Roast Beef also fruit cake, puddings and my mums home made white chocolate slice. This is a family tradition that my mum makes only at Christmas time.

My family’s tradition is where we have a huge celebration celebrating Christmas. Does your family have a tradition?

That is awesome your student is flying to Australia Sydney. I am sure she will have a super time while visiting Australia. Santa in Australia sometimes does wear a short sleeve top and shorts as it does get rather hot here in Australia during our summers.

Hope you all have a super Christmas with your family and friends
      Merry Christmas from down under!
