Here in the southern hemisphere it’s summer. Summer is the time of the year where you can relax and soak up the sun. Lately the summer here in Australia have been extremely hot reaching 43 degrees. There have been days where many states have had a day of total fire ban. Total fire ban means no out door lighting of fires in any form what so ever.
During these hot days there are many different ways which people try to keep cool. For me, my cousin, and Pete the cat we enjoyed having a pool party. This is where my cousin comes over and has a swim in my above ground pool.
Another way of keeping cool is relaxing on a hammock with a chilled drink. Or you may like to stay indoors with the air con on.
Hack my dog truly enjoys this hot weather more than any other dog that I know. Maybe it is time for Hack to get his own pool.

Finding ways to stay cool in the hot, hot summer is so important!
My favorite way to stay cool is to float on a floatable raft in a lake. My second favorite way is to play in a pool. My third favorite way is to sit in the shade and read a book.
I don’t really like air conditioning too much. If it’s not horribly hot outside, I would rather be outside than inside.
Your dog Hack is the complete opposite of Reese. Hack likes the heat of the summer and Reese likes the cold of the winter. In fact, he is absolutely miserable in the summertime. His favorite kind of day is outside on a cold, snowy day.
What is your favorite time of year?

I, agree it sure is important how to stay cool during the summer and also warm during the winter.
That sure is relaxing floating on a float able raft in the lake. You love to play in the pool like me that is awesome.
At my Nanna’s I usually bring my book and read outside for 40 minutes it is so relaxing.
We do not turn the air conditioning on too much we just shut the doors and open a window that makes it very cool.
But if it’s very hot outside we turn on the air conditioning just like you.
We are opposite I would rather be inside than outside because when I’m inside it is so nice and cool but outside is very hot.
Mum is exactly like Reese they both love the winter but in the summer they think it is to hot.
Hack dislikes the winter because he has short fur and it makes him cold.
My favourite time of the year is SUMMER I just love SUMMER because I can go swimming go to New South Wales, also school holidays are on.

First of all, I love the new picture in your blog header! How fun!
I also love the photographs you included in your post. It was fun to see you and your friend in the pool on a hot summer day!
When it is hot in summer, I like to float around in a lake…just like Mrs. Hembree. I also love to have dinner outside on the patio during the summer! It’s so nice to eat outside or alfresco as the Italians say!
Buck loves the summer too, although he’s only had one in his life. We bought him a blue plastic pool, and he loves to try to dig to the bottom!

I am glad it was fun to see me and my cousin in the pool together on the hot summer day.
Many people sure do like to relax on their patio on a hot day. I like how you said alfresco and said that is how the Italians like it as my Nanna likes to see the word alfresco.
I can just imagine Buck loving his first ever summer. That is funny how Buck likes to dig to the bottom of the pool. I am glad you like the photo of Hack smiling. That is great and kind of you to link the photo I will write on that post.
